Review of Newbridge Hotel. The location is indeed excellent, close to the train station and my family's home, which made life easier. The apartment I rented matched the online photos, so those expectations were met. I faced significant challenges at arrival. My room wasn't ready until 4:30 PM, despite a promised check-in at 3 PM. the lack of staffing and communication issues with the manager were disappointing. To top it off, breakfast the next morning was limited due to the chef being on holiday, with the closest option being a McDonald's. That said, my room offered a good balance of comfort with free toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. Kim, the waitress, added warmth to our morning with her kindness, and the garden area held promise for a cozy evening. While the hotel had its shortcomings, the friendliness of the staff does enhance the overall experience. If you're after a budget-friendly stay with decent amenities, this could be worth considering, but manage your expectations regarding service.
